Rant and Rave: Rave—The
album Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge by My Chemical Romance— From the opening track "Helena" through the radio hit "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)," the first five songs on the album provide a non-stop adrenaline rush. Two slower songs after that provide a brief rest before diving back into another series of super-charged tunes. It's the perfect set of music for a 45-minute run or for the car ride to an early morning meeting (or class). I've probably listened to this album over 100 times over the past few months, and it still has the same effect on me each time. If you can handle music that is loud and fast, I highly recommend it. |
