Kristin Franklin

While playing basketball at Santa Clara University, Kristin majored in art (to avoid writing papers) and minored in mathematics (so she could fulfill her upper division English requirement with a class titled "Writing For Math").  After graduation, she hung out with kindergartners for a year, then decided to enroll in a junior college culinary arts program.  Her goals include learning as much as she can about food and eventually having a career in food journalism.  She now regrets never wanting to write papers in college.

You can read some of Kristin's other work at The Food Section.
