Steve Finkelstein
Steve has attended such hallowed institutions of learning as Santa Monica City College, Cal St. Northridge and Sherwood Oaks Film School. His past experience includes running a film society in L.A., being a film critic for TV Compulog (a cable television magazine), and doing research for an entertainment journalist. Like half the population of L.A, he is pushing a screenplay. Despite having a background in entertainment, his column will focus on a variety of issues: current events, politics and issues regarding the net. And, of course, entertainment.
"As a person I tend to be very cynical, but in a benign fashion; a cynic is a failed idealist, after all. The leader of the cynics in Ancient Greece was Diogenes. He was simply looking for an honest man. Through my columns, I'd like to rip away the veneer of BS we frequently encounter in life and expose the truth. Hopefully, I'll succeed in that regard."
